"COVER PICTURE -
Meat is one of Ireland's most vital exports, and vehicles of Coras
lompair Eirenann play a major part in transporting it from the
40 meat factories. Our Picture shows one of CIE's lorries, an AEC
'Mercury' platform truck with insulated container body, unloading
mutton at Dublin Dock. It has already been parted from its drawbar
trailer - which permits a total load of 12 tons to be carried."
